1. What did you do in 2004 that you'd never done before? crew, been hardcore, hurt myself on purpose, not hated yorktown kids

2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year? i think it was lose weight, which worked really awesomely til like..may and then it died. my resolutions are usually pretty stupid like "eat less cookies..get a boyfriend..don't be lame"

3. Did anyone close to you give birth? no but rachel's pregnant!!

so me and beef went to clarendon today, and our barista at starbucks looked just like tobias on arrested development. blowme. and then she came over and we took like eight million random pictures including alice in wonderland and me crouching in the bushes. so i put a couple on webshots and you should see them..because we're cool i swear.

umm tomorrow i'm sleeping and working, because i'm lame and i like money. and then maybe caroline is sleeping over. that would definitely redeem my emo tuesday (remember that? way back when haha) sunday work was really fun though it was just me, kay and elise and no one even came in til way past 11 (we opened at 10) so me and elise turned up the music really loud and..reorganized the store and put little slashes through 293750237503 price tags. but afterwards we all went to see meet the fockers w/ kay's friend and it was cool.

secret santa today was so much fun, i love gifts. i can't wait to take some pictures to put in my new photo album... plus that puzzle kept me entertained for like twenty minutes..though it only had 12 or so pieces. i really like the candle/mini pot because it's so cute and she made it herself (which i have said 23957320x is what i LOVE) so MUCHOS GRACIAS NORA! i totally hablo espanol i swear.

I GOT MY PAYCHECK omg that makes my like nervous breakdown was totally almost worth it because it means money towards digital camera and france! plus i loved going in and having elise open my present yay! i can't wait to see who had me. and what's this about a christmas bonus?

CAROLINE IS COMING TO SCHOOL TOMORROW! i <3 friends, and christmas, and break happening day after tomorrow, and christmas, and my family, and over-decorated charlie brown-esque trees and toy trains and little villages with moving ice skaters and the fact that we have two big boxes from dell in the living room RIGHT NOW! and maybe nerdy neighborhood christmas parties? i want old block parties back though! sigh, nostalgia for chelsea, nate, and everyone else aka old people i <3.

i just want to say that tonight was one of the best nights i've had in such a long time...so i'm going to sum it up with a quote from clare (i don't remember the whole quote but here's what i do remember):

"i just love that here we are, sitting in somebody's basement on a friday night, we're not high or drunk, and we're talking about how much we all love each other."

so tonight was really sweet and just made me feel really appreciated, peopel brought up things that i thought no one noticed or that i hadn't thought of and it was just so warm and fuzzy and i'm going to end this here because that's all i really have to say.

oh and i love my friends for picking me up, whenever i'm losing my faith in people someone will just come and say or do something so NICE and it just makes me feel so happy again.

so today was pretty awesome, obviously not school except TM because i'm going to do tech on noises off, i kinda wanted to audition but i think it would be too much of a committment for me, plus i haven't acted since like...5th grade at summer camp where you were guaranteed a part haha. plus i'm so easily embarassed, like if/when i didn't get a part i'd be like blushing every time i saw caitlin, miriam or jeff in the hall haha. SO TECH! i'm so excited i had great times during anything goes and stuck pot. so then i went to work w/ elise, jen, sarah and matt, which was so cool because 1. elise and jen rock, 2. i met sarah who's really nice and 3. matt is my old neighbor from when i was like four!! i remember playing w/ him all the time before chelsea moved into his old house, and it was soo neat that he works at kinderhaus. so we talked a little bit and then my phone was busy because my brother left it off the hook (wejf9wji1!!) and i couldn't get through to my mom so mrs. jennings gave me a ride home, and it was just cool in general. so work was actually fun. plus i've worked like a million hours so yay me. and for some reason the 3-8 shifts have actually gone well so far. then i called a bunch of people about the TA gift annnd now i'm doing chimi (haha) and it's fun. sorta. plus i'm wrapping my christmas presents and writing my cards for people i don't see that much tonight, haha i'm such a nerd but i love it! i still need to pull together gifts for a couple people, or if i have something i need to do something to it, but yeah. sweet.

my computer is being really wonky. discovery tomorrow! then poker night at olivia's haha this weekend is going to be so hectic but awesome. PLUS i'm back in touch w/ hughes haha which tends to happen like once every two months and we're like HEYYY so it's all good.
